Enjoy the nature sports around the Lac de Bonnefon campsite.
At 700 meters from the Aveyron campsite, you can enjoy a health trail in the Gamasse forest, with 18 stations to perform different physical exercises on a 1900 meters loop. This course is very popular with the jogging enthusiasts.
The equestrian center La grange de la Plane, 1 kilometer from the campsite, offers pony or horse riding, open to experienced riders as well as beginners, accompanied by a state-qualified instructor for the greatest pleasure for young and old. Open from Monday to Saturday lunchtime in July and August by reservation.
The nearest park
For a walk in a natural setting, the parc animalier de Pradinas allows you to discover a European animal diversity. Some of the animals you meet participate in film shoots (bears, wolves, birds of prey…), stars of the big screen. Animations every hour in July and August, during school vacations, Sundays and public holidays.
For lovers of strong sensations, discover the amusement park Cap Découverte, located on the town of Le Garric (Tarn) 30 kilometers from the camping of the lake of bonnefon. This park extends over 100 hectares, in the middle of nature, with different sports and fun activities (giant Tyrolean traverse, paint ball, deval’Kart, sledge, skate park….

Lake of Val de Lenne
The shores of the Lake of Val de Lenne, 15 km from the campsite of Lac de Bonnefon.
The 17-hectare water park, located on the commune of Baraqueville is an ideal setting to spend a pleasant moment with family or friends to relax on the sandy beach.
Swimming is supervised from July to August by a BNSSA-qualified lifeguard. Equipped with multiple facilities, the nautical base offers a varied range of leisure and relaxation activities (Multi-sports ground / Petanque ground / “Health” course / Hiking trails / Supervised swimming area / Orienteering course / Picnic area). The nautical base offers pedal boats, kayaks, canoes, windsurfing boards, stand up paddle.
25 kilometers from the campsite near the Tarn, enjoy a relaxing moment on the edge of the Roucarié lake, on the commune of Almayrac (Tarn).
With 35 hectares of water and its banks in wooded areas, this lake offers visitors a green and exotic setting with a green and exotic setting. Developed as a leisure center, many activities are offered such as a fitness trail, games for children, sailing and rowing … Swimming is allowed and supervised (from 10 am to 7 pm) on the bank of Almayrac in July and August.
Two nautical bases on the site : rowing, canoeing, pedal boats, windsurfing and sailing. Animals forbidden on the beach and in the swimming area.

Accrobranche in the heart of the Aveyron gorges.
For the amateurs of accrobranche, the base of leisures of Najac (45 km from our campsite), allows you to move in the trees and to cross the river in giant zip line, in the heart of the gorges of Aveyron. You will be able to discover 7 circuits with monkey bridges, Tarzan jump, pendulum jump, zip line. Open from April to October.

You will also be able to enjoy height sensations, gliding and vertigo, by going to the Gages/Montrozier accrobranche. You will find a very family-friendly site, adapted to young people (from 6 years old), including 6 courses, more than 70 workshops and 4 giant zip lines. Open all year round.
Aveyron flows in magnificent wooded gorges. The leisure center of Najac, located 45 kilometers from the campsite of the lake Bonnefon, offers canoeing or rafting trips allowing you to appreciate the beauty of these wild gorges.
The river consists of many rapids accessible to all.
In the department of the Tarn, in Ambialet located at 40 kilometers from the Camping du lac de Bonnefon, the canoe-kayak base offers you three rental formulas for sailing along the high valley of the Tarn. This is the way to contemplate the landscapes from another angle.
A original walk in Aveyron, freely and effortlessly, by bike or by train on an old historical railway line in Sainte Eulalie de Cernon (105 kilometers from the campsite of the Lac de Bonnefon), which allows you to discover the Cernon valley in the Larzac by passing under tunnels and viaducts.
