Enjoy sports full of nature in the surroundings of the Lake Bonnefon camping
700 metres away from the campsite, you can enjoy a fitness trail in the Gamasse forest, with 18 stations to perform different fitness exercises on a loupe of 1900 meters. This trail is often used by people who are a fan of jogging. The horse riding stables La Grange de la Plane that is situated at 1km of the camping site, offer horse or pony rides, open to beginners and upwards, accompanied by an event planner equipped with a state diploma to ensure the best of times for adults and children alike. Open on reservation from Monday to Saturday afternoon in July and August.
For a walk in the nature, at 20km of the camping site, Le parcanimalier de Pradinas enables you to discover many diverse European animals. Some of the animals you will meet (bears, wolves, reptiles…) are real screen stars, they take part in filming movies. Entertainment every hour in July and August, in school holidays, Sundays and bank holidays.
For adrenaline fans, discover the theme park of Cap Decoverte, which can be found 30km away from the camping of Lake Bonnefon, in the Garric(Tarn) community. This theme park is in the middle of complete nature and spread over 100 hectares of ground. There are many different sport and play activities (paint ball, go karting, Skate Park, sledges and much more). Open every day in July and August.
The banks of lake Val de Lenne (17 hectares full of water) are located in the Baraqueville community (15km from lakeBonnefon camping) is an ideal setting to enjoy a lovely day between family and friends along the fine sandy beach. Lifeguards with BNSSA diplomas oversee swimming through July and August. With multiple equipment, the aquatic area offer many different leisure and relaxing activities (Multi sport pitch, boule pitch, fitness trail, walking footpaths, monitored swimming area, picnic areas). The aquatic area also offer peddle boats, kayaks, canoes, windsurfing boards, and stand up paddle boards.
25 kilometres away from the Lake Bonnefon camping, enjoy a relaxing time by the lake of Roucarié, in the town of Almayrac (Tarn). With 35 hectares of water and its banks in wooded areas, this lake offers visitors a green and relaxing setting. In the entertainment base, many activities are proposed such as a fitness trail, games for children, sailing and rowing… Swimming is allowed and monitored (from 10:00 to 7:00 p.m.) on the shore of Almayrac in July and August.
Two water sports centres on site, such as rowing, boating, canoeing, pedal boating, windsurfing and sailing. Animals are prohibited on the beach and in the swimming area.
For tree climbing enthusiasts, the Najac recreational centre (45 km from our campsite), is a place where you can move through the trees and across the river in giant zip, right in the heart of the Aveyron gorges. You will discover 7 circuits with rope bridges, Tarzan jump, pendulum jumping and zip line. Open from April to October.
You can also enjoy sensations of height, slips and vertigo, by going to the rope adventure of Gages / Montrozier located 50kilometers from the campsite of Lake Bonnefon. You will find a very nice family site and it is adapted for children (from 6 years), including 6 courses, over 70 workshops and four giant zip lines. Open all year.
Aveyron runs through beautiful wooded gorges. The Najac recreational centre, located 45kilometers from the campsite of Lake Bonnefon offers descents in canoe, kayak or raft allowing you to enjoy the beauty of these wild gorges. The river is made up of many rapids accessible to all.
In the Tarn, at Ambialet which is located 40 kilometers from the site of Lake Bonnefon, the canoe-kayak rentalbase offer three options to navigate over the upper valley of the Tarn. This is a way to admire the scenery from a different angle.
An original walk in Aveyron, effortless and with ease, on velorail (rail-bike) or train on a historic former railway track in Sainte Eulalie de Cernon (105 kilometres from lake Bonnefon camping), which allows you to discover the Cernon Valley in Larzac, passing under tunnels and overpasses.
