If there are dozens of hikes near the campsite, we have tried to make a small selection of itineraries not to be missed during your stay in the Aveyron.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/vacances-sauveterre-rouergue.jpg\" alt=\"vacances sauveterre rouergue\"><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"element section-title center\">Naucelle &#8211; Sauveterre-de-Rouerge (10 km)<\/h2>\n<div class=\"element bloc-text justify \">\n<p>From Naucelle, there is a <strong class=\"bold color1\">beautiful hike of about ten kilometers<\/strong> accessible to most people. This itinerary proposes a loop until Sauveterre-de-Rouergue, classified among the <strong class=\"bold color1\">most beautiful villages of France<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Count about 3 hours on foot during which you will get acquainted with the <strong class=\"bold color1\">moulin du Valadier<\/strong>, the Viaur and the L\u00e9zert and a <strong class=\"bold color1\">restful nature<\/strong>. Sauveterre-de-Rouerge deserves to linger there to admire the half-timbered houses and the works of the craftsmen of this former royal bastide.<\/p>\n<p>A village that inevitably marks its visitors with its <strong class=\"bold color1\">charming atmosphere<\/strong> especially during its night markets on Fridays in July-August.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"element section-title center m-t-4\">The circuit of the chapels in Quins (3.5 km)<\/h2>\n<div class=\"element bloc-text justify \">\n<p><strong class=\"bold color1\">Quins<\/strong> is a village near Naucelle, by car it will only take you a few minutes to get there from the campsite. Starting from the war memorial, you can follow the road leading to the <strong class=\"bold color1\">pre-Romanesque chapel Saint-Clair de Verdun<\/strong>, one of the oldest in the area (its construction dates back to the 10th century!).<\/p>\n<p>You will be able to admire the <strong class=\"bold color1\">mural paintings<\/strong> of this religious building thanks to a visit proposed by the Tourist Office of Naucellois (Sunday afternoon during the high season).<\/p>\n<p>If you hike in the area on June 1st or 2nd, you can go to the <strong class=\"bold color1\">Encounters of the Image<\/strong>, an event around photography organized on the site of Verdun. The itinerary also takes you to the <strong class=\"bold color1\">chapelle Saint-Vincent<\/strong> dating from the Romanesque period.<\/p>\n<p>At the end, the circuit of the chapels is a <strong class=\"bold color1\">sympathetic hike &#8220;medieval&nbsp;&#8220;<\/strong> in a green setting at the gates of the campsite!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"element section-title center\">The Lakes Road (11 km)<\/h2>\n<div class=\"element bloc-text justify \">\n<p>At 15 km you can reach <strong class=\"bold color1\">Baraqueville<\/strong>, a typical city of S\u00e9gala which hosts a large number of agricultural fairs every year. From the tourist office, discover the path of the lakes where the <strong class=\"bold color1\">nautical activities<\/strong> are varied between kayaking, windsurfing and stand up paddle.<\/p>\n<p>It is pleasant to go for a walk with family or friends to recharge your batteries during a stay in the area. You will find a path that leads to the lake of Carcenac-Peyral\u00e8s favourable for fishing and relaxation. A little further on during your walk, you will get acquainted with the Val-de-Lenne lake (17 hectares) close to the campsite in Occitania.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/randonnees-en-aveyron.jpg\" alt=\"randonn\u00e9e en Aveyron\"><br \/>\nMany others <strong class=\"bold color1\">trekking in S\u00e9gala<\/strong> near the campsite :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong class=\"bold color1\">The circuit of the Andouquette<\/strong> (8 km) and its 13 fords at Crespin (6 km from the campsite) for a nice green walk accompanied by this charming river. A change of scenery with the remains of mills and the ruins of the castle of Andouque.<\/li>\n<li><strong class=\"bold color1\">Loop around Belcastel<\/strong>, one of the most beautiful villages in France (yes, again!) about half an hour from the campsite.<\/li>\n<li><strong class=\"bold color1\">On the tracks of the ruins of the castle of Peyroles<\/strong> about twenty minutes from the lake of Bonnefon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Don&#8217;t hesitate to ask at the campsite reception for more information about other <strong class=\"bold color1\">hiking ideas and advices in S\u00e9gala<\/strong>, in the superb <strong class=\"bold color1\">Viaur valley<\/strong> and its surroundings.
